The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a moment when the sun stands at its greatest height before beginning its slow descent toward autumn and winter.
Yet solstice is not simply a celebration of light.
It is a threshold.
At the very moment of fullness, decline begins.
At the height of power, surrender is already present.
At the peak of the sun's radiance, we are invited to ask:
Drawing upon mythology, depth psychology, and contemporary ritual practice, we will gather to honor the turning of the year, the fire of transformation, and the liminal space between becoming and letting go.

There are places where women gather, not to be taught what is sacred, but to remember that they already are. And there are voices that rise not from doctrine, but from the body, the dream, the threshold between worlds.
This course—drawing on mythology, depth psychology, feminist theology, and lived ritual practice—brings these two movements together in an exploration of how women can reclaim spiritual authority through communal ritual and prophetic voice. Over six weeks, we will examine contemporary women’s circles as spaces of embodied transformation, where ritual, movement, storytelling, and shared presence become forms of lived spirituality. Alongside this, we will trace the archetypal lineage of the female seer—the Oracle, the Witch, and the Mystic—figures who have long mediated between worlds, often at great personal cost.
Together, these threads lead us to ask: What does it mean for a woman not only to gather in sacred space, but to speak from it? Through lecture, discussion, and optional ritual and somatic practices, we will explore how voice, body, and community intersect as sites of power, healing, and transformation. More than a course of study, this class is an invitation to reconnect with our own inner voice and wisdom.

Course Description:
Where do we come from—when the stories are known, and when they are not?
This course explores ancestry as both inheritance and mystery. Moving beyond a purely genealogical understanding, we enter the deeper terrain of mythic, archetypal, and embodied lineage. Through comparative mythology, depth psychology, ritual practice, and somatic inquiry, we will engage the many layers of ancestry: biological, cultural, adoptive, communal, and imaginal.
For those whose lineages are fragmented, hidden, or unknown, this course offers another way in.
Ancestry is not only something we research—it is something we feel, carry, resist, and become.
What You’ll Learn:
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Develop a multidimensional understanding of ancestry beyond bloodline
- Explore mythological and archetypal frameworks for engaging ancestors
- Work with ancestral shadow: inherited trauma, silence, rupture, and displacement
- Cultivate practices for connecting with known and unknown lineages
- Engage somatic and ritual methods for ancestral relationship-building
- Examine personal narratives of belonging, identity, and origin through a mythic lens
- Create or deepen a personal ancestral practice rooted in consent, discernment, and agency
Each session includes:
- Lecture (mythological, psychological, historical frameworks) -
Guided reflection or journaling
- Somatic or imaginal practice
- Optional ritual engagement
- Group discussion

There are moments in life when something within us begins to insist—on change, truth, expression, or becoming—quietly at first, then unmistakably, until it can no longer be ignored.
In this three-hour intensive, we will explore the archetype that is currently active in your life: the pattern of energy, desire, conflict, or transformation that is asking to be met, not avoided. Drawing from depth psychology, mythology, and embodied ritual practice, this session offers a structured yet experiential approach to recognizing the forces shaping our inner and outer worlds.
Archetypes, explored through Jungian and archetypal traditions of depth psychology, are not abstract ideas or distant mythic figures. They are living patterns within psyche and story—forces that shape desire, perception, relationship, and meaning. The Lover, the Warrior, the Wild Woman, the Sovereign, the Orphan, the Sorceress. These energies emerge at specific thresholds: moments of change, longing, rupture, or awakening. Often, the archetype calling us forward is also the one we resist most strongly. It may disrupt our identity, challenge our habits, or ask us to step beyond what feels known or safe.
Together, we will examine how archetypal patterns appear through emotion, desire, relational dynamics, and life circumstances. Through guided reflection, mythic framing, and somatic awareness practices, we will begin to identify the archetype currently shaping our experience. We will also explore the concept of the shadow—that which has been denied, avoided, or pushed out of awareness—and how it often carries the very energy needed for transformation.
This intensive will be both analytical and experiential. Participants will engage in journaling, guided visualization, and a simple ritual practice designed to create a direct, embodied encounter with the emerging archetype. No prior background in mythology or psychology is required—only a willingness to listen closely to what is already unfolding within you.
This class is particularly suited for those in moments of transition, when we sense that something in our lives is shifting but not yet fully understood. It is also for creatives, seekers, and anyone drawn to myth, symbol, and the deeper patterns of the psyche.
You do not need to go searching for the archetype. It is already here. The question is whether you are ready to meet it.
